The client provided a photograph allowing me to design/replicate this modern transitional sideboard. I copied the overall form and veneered the top, drawers and door fronts in book matched crotch mahogany. The sideboard is very transitional in style. It has influences of Period Federal sideboards along with a hint of Art Deco. Therefore, this sideboard fits beautifully in a modern house with both traditional and contemporary pieces.
