This is a simplified version of the quilted maple pair of night stands in my gallery page. The case is joined with hand cut dovetails and the case sides and top are from a single wide board that is “wrapped” around the case for continuous grain flow. The doors and drawer front is veneered in quilted maple while the case and feet are cherry. There is an ebony “accent” line between the case and feet. The doors open for an adjustable shelf.
