Portsmouth sideboard in mahogany, floral-and-fan-inlaid, replicated from an original made in Massachusetts circa 1780-1800.
The doors and drawers are cross banded in curly maple. Dark and light fan quadrants in the corners of the doors add an interesting accent. The star and floral inlay on the legs and stiles and the cross-banded edge of the top border add to the beauty of this piece. Materials-mahogany, figured mahogany veneer, tiger maple, ebony, holly.
